I would like to congratulate Mary Bussman for having been nominated and selected as a Woman of Distinction by Century College.
 
Century began its Women of Distinction awards in 2005 to highlight the accomplishments of women in our society, and also to celebrate that more women gain access to higher education through community/technical colleges than through any other type of post-secondary institution.
 
Century does not limit its awards to women who have attended Century. Instead, it has chosen to honor a wide variety of local women for their professional accomplishments, and also for their work in improving the lives and increasing opportunities for women and girls. Our honorees invite their families, friends and colleagues and we invite college faculty, staff, students, and community members to what always proves to be an inspiring event.
 
This evening usually draws 100 to 150 guests and consists of light hors d’oeuvres, cider, coffee and a cash bar.  The Women of Distinction event is free and open to the public.
 
We would like to invite Mary Bussman to be our honored guest for this celebratory evening held at Dellwood Country Club on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
 
I have enjoyed the Twin Cities Women’s Choir concerts and consulted with my friend, Diane Bearman, in the nominating process. I look forward to hearing from you.
